Ihre Aufgaben

Angesiedelt in der Abteilung Research & Applications arbeiten Sie eigenständig und im Team an nationalen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten.
Sie führen aktiv Messungen durch, bewerten die Messdaten, erstellen Auswertungen, fertigen Reports an und sorgen für die entsprechende Kommunikation und den Austausch mit Projektpartnern.
Sie wirken bei der Erstellung von wissenschaftlichen Publikationen, Vorträgen, Tagungspostern und Applikationsnotizen mit und erstellen Webinare und White-Paper zur Technologie.
Fachlich kompetent repräsentieren Sie das Postnova Research Institute und die Forschungsergebnisse auf Projekttreffen, wissenschaftlichen Tagungen und halten Vorträge.
Sie unterstützen die Abteilungsleitung bei der Suche nach relevanten Forschungsthemen sowie der Initiierung und Beantragung neuen Forschungsprojekte.
Intern unterstützen Sie wissenschaftlich das Applikationslabor und die Entwicklungsabteilung bei der Bearbeitung neuer Probensysteme, Produkt- und Softwareanwendungen.
Mittelfristig besteht die Möglichkeit zur Mitarbeit in nationalen und und internationalen Gremien und Entwicklung neuer Standards und Normen im Bereich Nanotechnologie, Separationstechnik und Laserlichtstreuung (ISO, ASTM, OECD).

Ihr Profil

Sie verfügen über ein sehr gut abgeschlossenes, naturwissenschaftliches Studium mit Promotion im Bereich Chemie, Physik, Biologie, Ingenieurswissenschaften, o. ä. und suchen eine Karriere in der anwendungsnahen, wissenschaftlichen Forschung.
Idealerweise haben Sie Kenntnisse in der analytischen Chromatographie, Trenntechnologie, Spektroskopie, Lichtstreuung und in den entsprechenden theoretisch-physikalischen Grundlagen.
Vorzugsweise weisen Sie einen erfolgreichen Track-Record bei der Durchführung von wissenschaftlichen Forschungsprojekten im akademischen oder institutionellen Umfeld auf.
Idealerweise besitzen Sie bereits Erfahrung in der Beantragung von Forschungsprojekten, im wissenschaftlichen Projektmanagement und im Umgang mit nationalen und internationalen Projektträgern.
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (mindestens C2 gemäß GER) sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens C1 gemäß GER), erforderlich für die Erstellung und Prüfung komplexer Fachtexte sowie die Kommunikation in einem internationalen Umfeld.
Sie sind ein Teamplayer mit großem Engagement, hoher Eigenmotivation und dem persönlichen Anspruch, in den Dienst der Wissenschaft zu treten, um einen Beitrag für eine bessere Welt zu leisten.

Your mission

Based in the Research & Applications department, you work independently and as part of a team on national and international research projects.
You actively conduct measurements, evaluate the data, prepare analyses and reports, and ensure appropriate communication and exchange with project partners.
You contribute to the creation of scientific publications, presentations, conference posters, and application notes, and you develop webinars and white papers on the technology.
You competently represent the Postnova Research Institute and its research results at project meetings, scientific conferences, and in presentations.
You support the head of department in identifying relevant research topics as well as in initiating and applying for new research projects.
Internally, you provide scientific support to the application laboratory and the development department in handling new sample systems, product applications, and software solutions.
In the medium term, there is the opportunity to participate in national and international committees and in the development of new standards and norms in the fields of nanotechnology, separation techniques, and laser light scattering (ISO, ASTM, OECD).

Your profile

You hold an excellent degree in natural sciences, ideally with a PhD in chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, or a related field, and are seeking a career in application-oriented scientific research.
Ideally, you have knowledge in analytical chromatography, separation science, spectroscopy, light scattering, and the relevant theoretical and physical principles.
Preferably, you have a successful track record in conducting scientific research projects in an academic or institutional setting.
Ideally, you already have experience in applying for research projects, in scientific project management, and in working with national and international funding agencies.
A key requirement for this position is excellent communication skills in both German and English, with strong proficiency in spoken and written language.
